In-roof (integrated) solar system replacing existing slates with PV-tile-equivalent panels. Pre-application consultation with planning and historic building consultant. Bird mesh integrated.
The Result
Planning permission granted first time. Visual impact minimal — looks like a slate roof from 50m. 4 kWp generating 3,400 kWh/year (Edinburgh has lower solar yield than Manchester). £780 annual saving.
