Premium Solar & Battery Storage
The Most Efficient Heating System Available
Ground source heat pumps extract renewable heat stored in the earth to deliver year-round, highly efficient heating and hot water. Unlike boilers that burn fuel to create heat, a ground source heat pump moves naturally occurring heat from the ground into your home — achieving efficiencies of up to 400%. Combined with the government's £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant and our MCS-certified installation, it represents a transformative upgrade for eligible UK properties.

Why Choose Ground Source?
Up to 400% Efficiency
Ground source heat pumps deliver 3–4 units of heat for every unit of electricity consumed, outperforming any direct electric heating system.
Year-Round Stable Output
Ground temperatures remain a constant 10–13°C regardless of season, giving ground source pumps a performance edge over air source in winter.
BUS Grant Eligible
Claim £7,500 through the UK Government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme. Our MCS-certified installation is a mandatory requirement to receive the grant.
Silent Operation
With all mechanical components underground or inside, ground source heat pumps run silently — ideal for noise-sensitive locations and conservation areas.
Underfloor & Radiator Compatible
Works with underfloor heating or appropriately sized radiators. We design the system around your property for maximum comfort and efficiency.
Hot Water Included
Ground source heat pumps can also provide domestic hot water via an integrated hot water cylinder, replacing your boiler entirely.
How It Works
Free Survey & Ground Assessment
We assess your land for either horizontal trenches or vertical boreholes, review planning requirements, and confirm BUS Grant eligibility.
System Design & MCS Quote
Our engineers produce a full heat loss calculation and system design. We handle all MCS paperwork required for grant applications.
Ground Loop Installation
Ground works are carried out by specialist contractors. Horizontal loops typically take 1–2 days; vertical boreholes 2–5 days depending on depth.
Heat Pump Commissioning
The heat pump unit is installed indoors, connected to the loop, commissioned and handed over with full MCS certification documentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Horizontal ground loops require approximately 2–3 times the floor area of your home — a 150m² house typically needs 300–450m² of trench. Where land is limited, vertical boreholes can be used on a much smaller footprint, drilling to 80–150m depth. We assess your site and recommend the right approach.
