Pre-Flight Planning

We review satellite imagery of your site, plan the flight path for complete coverage, and confirm weather conditions are suitable for thermal imaging (minimum 5°C differential required).

Step 02

Drone Survey

Our CAA-licensed pilot conducts systematic thermal and RGB imaging passes over your entire array while your system is generating at maximum output.

Step 03

Thermal Analysis

Our engineers analyse every thermal frame, identifying anomalies: hot spots, bypass diode failures, micro-cracks, soiling patterns, and wiring faults — all cross-referenced with your monitoring data.

Step 04

Inspection Report

You receive a full inspection report within 48 hours: annotated thermal images, fault list with GPS coordinates, severity ratings, estimated losses, and prioritised repair recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Midday on a clear, sunny day when panels are at maximum generation — the larger the temperature differential between healthy and faulty cells, the easier faults are to identify. We always check weather forecasts and reschedule if conditions are unsuitable for accurate thermal imaging.
